List Of Required Documents For Fire Suppression Plan Submittal For Stanislaus County Fire Prevention Bureau

Sprinkler Plans:
  • Sprinkler plans (approved site plan must be included as first page)
  • Include in drawings underground fire line pipe size, pipe length, gateway valve location, check valve location, material type used on pipes and devices, water source (well, tank or city connection). ***Visual inspection is required for the underground fire line and water source . Pipe size, length of the fire line to the water source, valve locations, thrust block type and locations must be installed as per plans. Contact 209-552-3700 to schedule an appointment.
  • Hydraulic calculations
  • Seismic calculations (if applicable)
  • Hydrant flow test report (good for 2 years from date of flow) or Well report (good for 1 year from date of test)
  • Material data sheets
  • Structural Attachment Compliance Letter
Fire Alarm Plans and Sprinkler Plan Monitoring:
  • Fire Alarm plan (approved site plan must be included as first page)
  • CSFM listings/Material data sheets
Fire Pump Rooms:
  • Fire Pump plans (approved site plan must be included as first page)
  • Longitudinal Seismic Brace
  • Lateral Seismic Brace
  • Material data sheets
  • Items required for equipment protection by NFPA 20, section 4.13
Hood & Duct Plans:
  • Hood & Duct plans (approved site plan must be included as first page)
  • Material data sheets
  • Design, installation and maintenance manual from the system manufacturer per NFPA 17A, section 6.4.1
Underground Fire Line Plans:
  • Underground Fire Line plans (approved site plan must be included as first page)
  • Material data sheets
  • Hydrant flow test report (good for 2 years from date of flow) or Well report (good for 1 year from date of test)
  • Method of retaining and calculations if necessary per NFPA 24, section 10.6
  • Cross section detail to ensure compliance with NFPA 24, section 10.4.2

  • Hydrant plans (approved site plan must be included as first page)
  • Material data sheets
  • Method of retaining and calculations if necessary per NFPA 24, section 10.6

Please note that additional information may be required from you to complete the review for your fire suppression project. The plan reviewer will request such information in writing via e-mail during the plan review process.

Submittals must have complete required document’s; incomplete submittals will not be accepted.
