MICN Certification Class

Prior to attending this class, you are required to complete and submit a MICN Application via the application portal. Class fees are included in your application and will need to be paid before registration closes.

The Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) class is designed to explain EMS policies, practices, procedures, and laws to assist with bridging the hospital and pre-hospital gap. MICN applicants will also learn radio communication techniques, overview of web based application EMResource, and the regional disaster mutual aid process.

  • This class concludes with an online Paramedic Protocol exam and an online exam on content covered during the course.
